Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After an early breakfast and safari briefing at your Nairobi hotel (hotel not included), set off in your 4x4 safari vehicle, heading north through the fertile central highlands toward the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Cross the Equator and arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch at The River Camp, set beside the river in the heart of one of East Africa's most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries. After a chance to settle in, head out on your first afternoon game drive across the open plains, searching for lion, elephant, buffalo and the conservancy's famous rhinos. Return to camp at sunset for dinner beneath the stars. For an extra thrill, pre-book a shared night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife (additional cost).

Day 2: Rhinos and Chimpanzees of Ol Pejeta
Ol Pejeta is home to East Africa's largest population of black rhinos and the last two northern white rhinos left on earth, a powerful symbol of conservation. After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive, then visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, which you'll observe from a viewing platform as they live in a natural forest habitat. Return to camp for lunch and time to relax, then enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. For a closer encounter, pre-book the shared Meet the White Rhino experience (additional cost).

Day 3: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru
After an early breakfast, leave the slopes of Mount Kenya behind and travel west into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at The Cliff Camp in time for lunch, perched dramatically on a clifftop with sweeping views over the park and the shimmering soda lake below. After a chance to relax and enjoy the camp's facilities, set out on an afternoon game drive through acacia woodland and open grassland, home to buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe and both black and white rhinos. Return to camp at sunset for dinner overlooking the twinkling lights of the valley

Day 4
Day 4: A Full Day in Lake Nakuru
Spend a full day exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's most important rhino sanctuaries, with a picnic lunch in a scenic spot. Track rhinos grazing the lakeshore plains, search the yellow-barked acacias for leopard and tree-climbing lions, and look for waterbuck, zebra and buffalo. Depending on water levels, the shoreline may be lined with flamingos and pelicans. Pause at Baboon Cliff for panoramic views across the lake and the Rift Valley. For a different perspective, pre-book a shared boat safari on the lake (additional cost). Return to camp for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Day 5: Through the Breadbasket to the Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and climb over the Mau Escarpment, enjoying sweeping views back across the Rift Valley. Head south toward Narok, the bustling gateway to the Masai Mara and the heart of Maasailand, crossing Kenya's breadbasket, a rolling patchwork of wheat and barley fields. Arrive at Entim Mara Camp in time for lunch, a luxury tented camp near the Mara River. After a siesta, set out on your first afternoon game drive across the legendary golden plains, searching for lion, cheetah, elephant and the great herds of wildebeest and zebra, before returning to camp at sunset.

Day 6: A Full Day in the Masai Mara
Spend a full day immersed in the wildlife of the Masai Mara, with a picnic lunch in the bush so you can explore further afield. Follow lion prides across the plains, watch cheetahs on the hunt, and search the riverine forest for leopard. From roughly July to October, the Great Migration fills the plains with vast herds, bringing the chance to witness dramatic crossings of the Mara River. For an unforgettable start, pre-book a sunrise hot-air balloon safari, drifting over the plains before a champagne bush breakfast (additional cost). Return to camp for a farewell dinner under the stars.

Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled Fly ALS flight to Nairobi, departing at 11:15 and arriving at Wilson Airport at around 13:00, with sweeping views of the Rift Valley along the way. On arrival, you'll be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel for your onward journey, taking home memories of rhinos, chimpanzees and the timeless plains of the Mara.
