Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca — Morocco's Modern Gateway
Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and primary international gateway, where Atlantic breezes meet a skyline of French colonial facades and modern high-rises. After a smooth private transfer, settle into your hotel and take the afternoon at leisure to shake off the journey, with an early stroll along the Corniche if energy allows — watching surfers ride the swell against a backdrop of seafront cafés and rolling waves. As the sun begins to dip, head to a seafront restaurant for a dinner of fresh Atlantic catch, paired with chilled Moroccan white wine. Casablanca's cosmopolitan pulse, equal parts business capital and beach town, sets the perfect tone for the journey now unfolding ahead.

Day 2: Casablanca in Depth
Spend a full day exploring Morocco's largest and most modern city. Begin at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest religious monuments in the world, its towering minaret rising directly over the Atlantic in a feat of architectural bravado. Continue to the historic Habous Quarter, a planned Medina built during the French Protectorate era, where colonial-era arcades blend seamlessly with traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, spice stalls, and bakeries perfuming the air with fresh bread. Wander the Corniche promenade in the afternoon light, then dine this evening at a local favorite serving grilled Atlantic seafood — a fitting final evening in Morocco's economic capital before the road turns north toward the country's political heart.

Day 3: Casablanca to Rabat — Morocco's Regal Capital
This morning, travel north along the coastal highway to Rabat, Morocco's elegant capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site defined by order, greenery, and quiet grandeur. Visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortified 12th-century citadel overlooking the meeting point of the Bou Regreg River and the Atlantic, its blue-and-white lanes echoing Chefchaouen's palette in miniature, with Andalusian gardens tucked just beyond the walls. Check into your riad in the Medina this afternoon, with time to settle in and wander nearby lanes before dinner, Rabat's calmer, more governmental character offering a graceful, unhurried contrast to Casablanca's coastal bustle.

Day 4: Rabat in Depth
Spend a full day discovering Rabat's layered royal heritage. Visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, twin symbols of Morocco's monarchy standing side by side in polished marble and intricate zellige tilework. Explore the Chellah, a walled necropolis of Roman ruins and Marinid-era royal tombs, its crumbling arches draped in bougainvillea and alive with the calls of nesting storks overhead. In the afternoon, wander the Medina's quieter souks in search of leather goods and woven textiles, or visit the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art for a look at Morocco's evolving artistic voice. Enjoy a final dinner in Rabat this evening before the coast road continues north tomorrow.

Day 5: Rabat to Tangier — Along the Atlantic Coast
Depart Rabat and journey north along a dramatic stretch of Atlantic coastline toward Tangier, Morocco's northern gem where Europe and Africa nearly touch across the narrow Strait of Gibraltar. After checking into your riad overlooking the sea, begin exploring with a stroll through the Kasbah, its winding alleys and whitewashed houses centered on the Kasbah Museum, housed within a former sultan's palace and filled with artifacts spanning centuries of maritime trade. As evening falls, enjoy dinner at a hilltop restaurant with sweeping views over the Strait, the lights of Spain flickering faintly across the water — a fittingly cinematic welcome to this storied crossroads city.

Wander through its pristine Medina, where whitewashed buildings, intricately carved doorways, and generations-old artisan workshops showcase a craftsmanship found nowhere else in Morocco. Enjoy lunch at a traditional café serving tangy tagine with olives and preserved lemon, then stroll through Boulevard Mohammed V, lined with palm trees, fountains, and elegant Spanish-era architecture.
